Neptune Infrastructure Associates shortlisted for Technical Advisory of the Year at the 2024 Wind Investment Awards

25 Mar 2024

Tamarindo confirms shortlist of the fifth edition of its Wind Investment Awards programme, celebrating best practice in the global wind sector.

London, 25th of March 2024 - Neptune Infrastructure Associates Ltd (NIA), has been shortlisted for Technical Advisory of the Year at the fifth edition of the Wind Investment Awards. It is the first time NIA has been nominated for the ceremony’s Technical Advisory of the Year category, demonstrating the company’s commitment to delivering an accelerated, value-creating energy transition.

Renewable energy investors face considerable obstacles in realising an investment’s true potential. They frequently don’t understand why assets are under-performing, or how to solve the issue. They lack full access to data and information; have lean, overly-stretched in-house teams with limited dedicated sector knowledge and insight; plus an acceptance of a hands-off approach. NIA has the crucial inside expertise to act as a trusted independent partner and adviser in leveraging the value of wind energy assets.

The annual Wind Investment Awards celebrates best practice in the global onshore and offshore wind industry, incorporating innovation, financing, project development and asset management. Hosted by global renewable energy and clean technology community, Tamarindo, the awards unite prominent decision-makers to enable opportunities to network and forge long-term business connections.

Hamish Yates, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Neptune Infrastructure Associates, said: “we are absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been shortlisted for this award. A huge thank you to the judging panel for recognising the hard work and dedication of our team, and the results we are delivering for our clients. We are obsessed with over-delivering as a trusted ally and extension of our customer's business, so being shortlisted for this award really means the world to us. A huge congratulations to all those shortlisted for the awards, we look forward to seeing the final results in May.”

Adam Barber, Chief Executive Officer, Tamarindo said: “Once again it is excellent to see such enthusiasm and hard work being championed and celebrated at this, the fifth edition of the Wind Investment Awards. The deal-making, teamwork and financial acumen demonstrated by those working at the forefront of wind energy development and investments truly inspiring, particularly given what has

remained a challenging economic environment. Congratulations to all those shortlisted and we look forward to celebrating with many of you on the night.”

The 2024 Wind Investment Awards will be held on 23 May, following the Financing Energy Transition conference.
